Site Selection Magazine names North Carolina the state with the top business climate for the third year in a row

North Carolina has been named the state with the best business climate six of the last seven years.
The magazine develops its rankings based on executive surveys and new economic movement as reflected by new products and plant activity. Those survey noted not only a great quality of life in North Carolina but also a favorable business climate and access to top-notch academic and research facilities.
It has been impressive to me to see both Governor Easley’s and the NC legislature’s aggressive approach to funding education and research.
